Web Application Developer
TicketCity, a small privately held ecommerce and services company, is looking for passionate and energetic web application developers to join its team. Already a leader in the secondary ticket distribution industry, we’re expanding our platform of business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications and need the help of a few rising stars to do so.
As a member of the development team, you will be working closely with other developers, database administrators and business stakeholders to build applications that are key to supporting our growth initiatives. Tired of working in an environment where you’re limited in avenues for creative expression? At TicketCity, every member of our team is able to provide ideas and input into what we are building, and how we’re building it. The future of what you are working on is bounded only by your creativity.
Those with a passion for web technologies and a desire to learn about enterprise architecture will fit well into our team. You will be surrounded by not only core technologies and concepts like SOA, database architecture, AJAX and rich web applications, but also by the practices of successful software businesses like test-driven development and continuous integration. In addition, you will be able to draw on the experience of our team to learn more about SEO and other aspects of building an industry-leading ecommerce application.
This is an opportunity to work for a fun, rapidly growing company. TicketCity offers a friendly environment with a strong, supportive team atmosphere. We have twice been a finalist in Austin’s Best Workplaces competition and have also been voted one of Austin Business Journal’s Fastest Growing companies seven times.
