Katy Perry

The Prismatic Tour will play 46 cities this summer.

The Artist-Formerly-Known-As-Katy-Hudson announced the North American leg of the Prismatic World Tour last week. This is her third world tour and first since 2011′s California Dreams Tour. North America is leg two of the tour, the first being a series of shows in Europe with electro-pop duo Icona Pop opening.

Miss Perry hits the shores of North America in June at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. She’s bringing along three opening acts, Capital Cities (June 22-August 7 shows), Kacey Musgraves (August 10-31 shows), and Tegan and Sara (September 9 – October 10 shows). The tour is currently scheduled to wrap up here in Texas at the Toyota Center on October 10th.

Since you’re probably a bit Roar’ed-out, here’s the latest single from the Prism album, “Unconditionally.” Rocking the Anna Karenina vibe with this one, with bonus owl and random slo-mo chair flipping. Towards the end an entirely different video from what I gather was a parallel universe attempts to intrude on our own reality. Either that or someone from the label said, “People dancing in period costumes ain’t gonna cut it! We need more effect shots!”
