NFL Ticket Brokers

Now that the NFL pre-season is fully underway football fans are beginning to start shopping for NFL tickets. Shopping for NFL tickets online can easily seem a little more overwhelming than shopping for airfare online.  Even though there are literally thousands of websites that sell airfare, there are a handful of sites that are household names. IMHO, few NFL ticket brokers could be considered household names and when you search for NFL tickets you’ll find thousands of websites. I would guess that most people are familiar with TicketMaster, but have you tried to find NFL tickets on their site lately? Sure they are often the primary distributor of NFL tickets, but they sell out usually within minutes once tickets become available.

Q. If you can’t get tickets from TicketMaster where can you get NFL tickets?

A. Many places, but if you don’t want to be ripped off your safest bet is to find a trusted NFL ticket broker.

Fans and season ticket holders who have tickets to games that they can’t attend or give away to friends and family will often list their tickets on auction sites or ticket broker sites. Many times NFL tickets are available on EBay. However, being careful not to get ripped off on EBay can be tricky. EBay doesn’t offer a lot of recourse to buyers when they’ve been duped. If you’re going to buy tickets on EBay I’d suggest buying from a business that also has their own website, physical address and a public telephone number (that they answer). In other words, you might as well be buying from a trusted NFL ticket broker to begin with :)

Q. So, who are these trustworthy NFL ticket brokers and how do they compare to each other on price and service?

A. As a premiere NFL ticket broker ourselves, we’ve studied our competition and we’re happy to point out the differences. Visit our Ticket Broker Comparison page for an in depth look at how the various NFL ticket brokers stack up against each other!

Dallas Cowboys Pre-Season

As a Dallas Cowboys fan I was glad hear that Jerry Jones agreed to let the HBO cameras into the Cowboys training camp this year to film Hard Knocks. I saw the first episode last Wednesday and it really got me excited about the Cowboys chances this year. TO and Adam Jones (aka Pacman Jones) talked a little smack and went at each other. BTW, TO is looking as strong as ever (he’s easily a number 1 or 2 overall fantasy football receiver).

Patrick Crayton seems driven by a huge drop that he had against the Giants in last years playoff game. He was in the middle of some more training camp competition, one-uping Adam Jones who caught 6 continuous punts without setting any of the balls down.

That whole first Hard Knocks episode was great, with a lot more drama than I’ve got time to mention and I’m guessing the next several weeks will provide a lot more!

I watched the first quarter of the Chargers Cowboys preseason game. The first team offense looked almost perfect against what many are expecting to be the number 1 defense in the NFL. 8 plays and a touchdown later, that was all we got to see of the first team offense. On the flip side, the Cowboys defense was equally strong. Zach Thomas stood out as a great addition for running back smashing. The only thing that drove me crazy was special teams… ugh… not so good. Thank goodness it’s the preseason, because credit or not special teams can break or make a team.

I’ve never been to a pre-season game, but I gotta say I might just have to make a run to Irving Texas and get into the season a bit early this year, especially since Dallas Cowboys pre-season tickets are so cheap!

Jason Kidd is a Maverick!

Mavericks fans rejoice… one of the best point guards in the NBA, Jason Kidd, is coming home to Dallas, place where his NBA career all began. The Mavericks and Nets settled on an 8 player trade, with Dallas throwing in 3 million in cash and a couple first round draft picks.

Dallas gave up Harris and Diop, but I think Nowitzki, Howard & Terry and Dampier will be fine with Mr Triple Double on the scene :)

As a Mavericks fan I’m stoked about this deal… but trust me, as a Mavericks fan I know it ain’t over until you conquer the post season fiascos; Don’t even ask me my thoughts on Baron Davis :P
