Good to see some movement in the top three. Remember kids, sharing is caring.

While allegedly doing a great deal of research for a future cover of the theme song to Octopussy, the esteemed Mr. Bieber takes the top spot. He trades places with 1D, who land at #2 while Taylor Swift patiently awaits her turn. I suppose 1D’s Harry Styles can take some comfort in this ranking after getting tossed back. Maybe 1D will get a cut of the future breakup song Swift writes about him.

Coming as it did last Monday, the BCS managed to hold onto the #4 spot on the strength of the first few days of this week. Quite a bit of interest in the game, at least until they started playing it. Budding screenwriters were likely most disappointed of all, as reality came crashing down upon a good story.

Rounding out the top 5, and leading a fresh pack of entries, is George Strait, whose farewell tour with Martina McBride is making the rounds in the coming months. Other spring diversions pack the bottom five, including the WWE, Monster Jam, and the Houston Rodeo.

Competing for your country music dollar this spring is Luke Bryan, who is on Dirt Road Diaries Tour. This is the more recently minted country star’s first headlining tour.

Finally, those looking for a little more R&B and rock in their pop can join P!nk on The Truth About Love Tour.

So many corny “Boss” references, so little time… So let’s just say Bruce Springsteen’s tour dates for 2012 have been announced and they are pretty popular. Springsteen has a new album, Wrecking Ball, ready for release, and he will be on the road this spring, most likely at a very large arena near you.

Springsteen handily unseated Drake, who had the top spot two weeks running, but didn’t fall too far. Likewise, the sizable game on Sunday dropped one spot to #3. Rebounding pretty strongly, Van Halen climbs back to the #4 spot, and the Chili Peppers round out a very musical top 5.

Rock has the top five, while pop secures the bottom five. Big Time Rush, a more recently minted Nickelodeon boy band, kicks things off, followed by Beiber fans eager to know when the latest tour dates are announced. Answer: not quite yet.

The NBA takes lands near the end, with the Heat and their finals opponent last year, the Mavericks, in the #8 and #9 spots. Finally, in what can only be described as a twist ending, Monster Jam takes the #10 spot.

10 - Radiohead

Concerts have the upper hand this week, with a 6-4 edge. It’s really 7-3, since the Houston Rodeo makes it to the list on the strength of their concert line-up this year, which features Lady Antebellum, John Legend, ZZ Top, Train, and Alan Jackson, among many others. At the top is Drake, who enjoys a strong jump from the fifth spot last week. He dethrones Van Halen, though they were a close #2.

The Super Bowl surges back to the third spot, followed by country sensation Jason Aldean. Aldean is on tour and will be stopping by the Houston Rodeo as well. The Heat round out the top 5 after a single digit loss.

In the bottom five we find monster trucks and Justin Beiber, who returns after a longer than usual absence. No new tour has been announced, but he is apparently working on a new album (Believe), so a new tour will likely not be far behind.

Rounding things out Tool slip a couple spots to #9 while Radiohead appears at #10. They’ll be in the US for just over a month, so don’t wait to get your tickets.

Interesting shuffle this week, as we bid a final farewell to bowl season. The NFL postseason still figures heavily on the list, though it’s now in the bottom five. At the top we have Van Halen, whose upcoming tour has proven quite buzzworthy, thanks in no small part to the release of their first new album in fourteen years. It’s the first Van Halen album since 1984 to feature David Lee Roth on lead vocals. Fans have had quite a wait for this one, and are ready to pack stadiums to see them.

In slightly more bittersweet concert news, the #2 entry on the countdown, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, surged from #9 last week, but also announced the kick off of their tour would be delayed. Chili Peppers faithful will have to wait until late March to see the band.

Rounding out the top 5 we have the Heat hanging in at #4 and Drake, who is on tour promoting his latest album, Take Care.

Down in the bottom five we find the Texas and the Super Bowl, along with a favorite diversion for the cold winter months: Monster Jam.

While the top 5 remains rather musical this week, we see some sports and some “entertaining” sports sneaking back into the bottom 5. First off, Taylor Swift remains at #1. At the moment she is touring Europe, but will be returning to US soil at the end of May. The Speak Now Tour will hit some of the biggest arenas in the country, including Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Lil Wayne and the esteemed Mr. Beiber trade spots this week, and Lady Gaga hangs steady at #4. Adele works on a big leap from #9 to #5.

The Blue Man Group, or one of them, at least, is performing multiple shows at Dell Hall this weekend, and it appears people are looking for some last minute tickets. Much like mall Santas, these guys can appear at different venues all over the country at the same time.

Oh, it’s almost Wrestlemania season, so WWE should be around for a month or so. It’s a good pair for Monster Jam which returns to the #8 spot. Skip to #10 and we find one of the oldest continually held sporting events in the United States: The Kentucky Derby. The Derby is May 7th this year and is not a good pair for the WWE.
