2009 NFL season is almost here!

There are less than 2 months until the start of the 2009 NFL football season (56 days if  you are counting).  The first regular-season game on the 2009 NFL schedule is matchup between the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, September 10th.  The rest of the NFL teams kickoff the 2009 season on Sunday, September 13th.

The big matchups in week 1 of the NFL regular-season are the Steelers vs Titans, Colts vs Jaguars, Giants vs Redskins and Packers vs Bears.  Another intriguing matchup that takes place in week 1 of the NFL is the Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots.  That Bills vs Pats game is the ESPN Monday Night Football game. It features the return of Tom Brady to the New England, plus Terrell Owens first game as a Bill.  You can bet there will be lots of fireworks on that opening weekend of the NFL, perhaps none bigger than the Monday Night Football matchup.
