TicketCity Improves Event Buying Experience

Today, the TicketCity team rolled out a massive redesign to our event page on the website and mobile app and we’re celebrating with a site-wide sale. Our new event page began with a concrete goal to make it easier for you to find the best tickets for your favorite events. Over the last few months, we’ve been collecting customer feedback, and using this feedback to revamp the event page based on what you asked for. The revamped event page was launched TODAY and we want you to try it so much we put every ticket on our website on sale.

As you head to TicketCity.com today to shop the sale, you will see the revamped page that now includes helpful details and improved features for today’s data-loving buyers such as seat views, price comparison, and best value notes. The major milestone is the amount of information and the speed you get it in. The new event page is 40 percent faster on both the website and app, so now you can quickly discover, review and purchase tickets with increased convenience and confidence – then get on with your day.

This project takes nearly 30 years of experience in the ticketing world and uses extensive data and information and infuses it into a new event page that we are proud to reveal to our customers.

The Before + After Event Page

In the coming weeks, we plan to roll out additional new features and capabilities to offer the best experience available for today’s event-goers.

Near-term future plans include:

  • Section price comparison tools allowing users to group tickets together by “zone” to easily view similar options and find seats for the best price in the desired section(s) of interest within a venue, arena or stadium.
  • Advanced price comparison based on fan experience to enhance fan experience. TicketCity will comb through decades worth of information with the goal to provide transparency to customers – beyond cost – to provide important tidbits such as the side of the stadium the sun sets, venues with mobile entry only since each architect design is different and access to bathrooms among other details.
  • Customer feedback widget to allow users to interact with TicketCity directly. Customers can ask questions they might have about the changes or provide suggestions on ways we can improve the user-experience moving forward.

As you head to the site to celebrate today, we’d appreciate any feedback you have. Please feel free to utilize feedback widgets on the page or leave thoughts in our comments section on the blog.

We thank you for your continued support and feedback,

The TicketCity Team
