TicketCity Acquires Fandeavor

Acquisition provides wider selection of tickets and travel for customers

TicketCity, the largest privately held ticketing company in the world, announced today it has acquired Fandeavor.com, one of the leaders in fan travel. By joining forces, Fandeavor’s customers will have access to TicketCity’s wide selection of tickets, accommodations and experiences for over 100,000 events all over the world.

The Fandeavor deal will help TicketCity with their ongoing commitment to offer the best tickets and experiences to customers. “Through this acquisition, we’re confident that Fandeavor’s loyal global customer base will continue to seamlessly access the best selection of tickets and places to stay at their event.” said Zach Anderson, President at TicketCity. 

TicketCity currently offers ticket, travel and hospitality packages to major events like the Masters Golf Tournament. “Our team has a long history providing full-service experiences for our customers and we look forward to continuing to grow what we offer as part of this deal,” said Anderson.

Fandeavor.com was started in 2012 by Tom Ellingson and Dean Curtis, two former Zappos.com employees. Fandeavor makes it easy for customers to plan and book travel packages to live events, ranging from the World Cup, Olympics, Super Bowl, to F1 races. “This acquisition validates the incredible work of our team over the past seven years and gives our customers access to the best tickets, experiences and customer service that TicketCity has spent 30 years building.” said Tom Ellingson, Co-Founder of Fandeavor.
