TicketCity CPO, Caroline Gibbs Elected to Board of NATB

TicketCity is thrilled to announce that Chief Purchasing Officer, Caroline Gibbs was selected to the Board of the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB).

The NATB serves to promote the highest standards of conduct among ticket brokers involved in the resale of event admission tickets. The association continues to facilitate consumer protection on the secondary market and educate the public concerning any ticket-brokering services. Moving forward, as the event industry evolves, the need for technology to meet the consumers’ expectations also grows. We look forward to watching the positive impact Caroline will have in the association moving forward.

TicketCity President, Zach Anderson spoke to what it means to TicketCity to have Caroline on the Board, “Caroline will be a strong leader for the NATB, just like she has been at TicketCity for twenty years. She understands the important role that we play in making sure that fans can get the tickets they want for the events they love. Caroline will be a great advocate for ticket buyers and sellers; and make sure the ticket industry continues to thrive.”

As CPO, Caroline Gibbs is charged with the full operational oversight, fulfillment and management of the inventory division at TicketCity. Caroline’s additional roles within the company include providing strategic management of national event operations and assisting in the development of new corporate partnership opportunities. In 2016, Caroline received the NATB Visionary Broker of the Year Award.

Prior to being named CPO, Caroline served as the Vice President of Sales & Customer Service at TicketCity for seven years. Under her direction, the company procured massive growth in sales, as well as setting the industry standard in the areas of client relations and customer service. In 2015, TicketCity’s Customer Service Team was recognized by the NATB at the World Ticket Conference as the pinnacle of Client Services, as TicketCity was awarded to the Elite Broker to Broker Award. Previously in her career, from 1998 – 2009, Caroline served as one of TicketCity’s top producing Sales Associates.

“I’m honored that my peers within the industry selected me to serve on the Board of Directors of this long-standing organization,” said Caroline Gibbs. “The NATB has achieved monumental success promoting ethical practices throughout the industry. Moving forward, I hope to help make strides in the continuation of the free and open resale of tickets. It remains important that not only are sellers protected, but the consumer as well.”

Though not yet mainstream, it’s important to note there will be trends that have an impact on the industry in later years. We can’t think of anyone better to advocate for both sides of the secondary market than Caroline Gibbs. As TicketCity continues to strive to make the ticket-buying process the simplest way to buy tickets, Caroline has been essential to our growth. We are so proud to call her one of our own and know the impact she will impress upon the NATB.
