TicketCity is Providing Refunds on Events Cancelled Due to Coronavirus.

Having doubts about buying tickets? You shouldn’t if you are buying from TicketCity. Customers can buy with confidence, as we have provided full refunds to customers with events cancelled due to the Coronavirus. To date, our team has issued refunds on every cancelled event through the end of April 2020. They continue to work through the most recent cancelled events, and will processing those refunds for customers as the cancellations are confirmed.

Do I need to contact TicketCity to receive a refund on my cancelled event?

No, you do not need to contact TicketCity to receive a refund on your cancelled order. If your event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, then our team is processing your order refund automatically.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

We appreciate your patience as we move through this large volume of cancellations. Our team is accounting for over 20,000 cancelled events, and there is strict process they follow on each one to make sure it is handled accurately. That process has been taking 3-4 weeks on average from start-to-finish, but does not require any action on your part.

Is TicketCity issuing refunds on postponed events?

If an event is postponed, then the tickets you ordered for that date are valid to use on the new date. If that event subsequently is cancelled, then you will receive a full refund on that order. Certain events are temporarily “suspended” while those leagues (e.g.- MLB, NBA, NHL) decide how to schedule their games. We are awaiting word from those teams and leagues on the status of those games, before we can process any order cancellations. Our policy on handling of postponed events has been the same for years.
