TicketCity Continues to Provide Refunds on Events Cancelled Due to Covid.

Having doubts about buying tickets? You shouldn’t if you are buying from TicketCity. Customers can buy with confidence, as we have provided full refunds to customers with events cancelled due to the Covid. To date, our team has issued refunds on every Cancelled Event through 2020 & 2021. We have a group of our Customer Service team dedicated to this process, who are tracking any event cancellations to make sure customers that ordered for those events will get their refund processed as quickly as possible.

Will I Receive a Refund if My Event is Cancelled?

Yes, if your event is cancelled then you will receive a full refund. Refunds are for cancelled events only, not on postponed, delayed, or rescheduled events. If your event is cancelled, then you will receive a full refund on your order.

Do I Need to Contact TicketCity to Receive a Refund on my Cancelled Event?

No, you do not need to contact us to receive a refund on your cancelled order. If your event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, then our team is processing your order refund automatically. Refunds are for cancelled events only, not on postponed events. If you believe your event was cancelled and did not get a refund, the please contact our Customer Service team to confirm the status of your event and order.

When will I Receive my Refund if my Event was Cancelled?

The time can vary based on volume of cancelled events, but in 2020 our team accounted for ~ 100,000 event cancellations and got the time to refunds from (initially) 3-4 weeks down to just a few days. Our team follows a strict process on each order to make sure it is handled accurately and it does not require any action on your part to receive a refund on order for cancelled event.

Will I Receive a Refund on a Postponed Event?

If an event is postponed, then the tickets you ordered for that date are valid to use on the new date. That means an event that is postponed, delayed or rescheduled to a new date, you can still attend with the tickets that you purchased for the original date. If a postponed event is subsequently cancelled, then you will receive a full refund on that order at that point that it is cancelled. TicketCity does not issue refunds on postponed, delayed or rescheduled events. Our policy on handling of postponed events has been the same for many years.
