NASCAR Kicks Off 2020 at Daytona Speedway on February 14th
Now that the 2021 NASCAR schedule has been released and we’ve had time to digest all the changes and differences for 2021, here’s a look ahead at the season kick-off: the Daytona 500.
NASCAR Cup Series action returns for 2021 when the teams hit the track for the first time on Daytona Speedway on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14th 2020. Last year’s winner Denny Hamlin was the first driver to win back-to-back Daytonas in 25 years. History is everywhere at this first stop for the Cup Series.
The Daytona 500 is NASCAR’s epic opening day. Also know as the “Super Bowl of NASCAR”, this event regularly sells out so tickets are in high demand. While Daytona kicks off the season, there are six months of races until the Playoff Races start in September. TicketCity is your place for NASCAR Cup Series tickets all season long.

Daytona 500 Experience
Daytona is one of the best tracks for a vacation. With the option of Daytona Beach and Orlando just being an hour away, there are plentiful entertainment options beyond the NASCAR race. While Daytona Beach will be swamped with race fans, check other events in the area on TicketCity.
Best Seats at Daytona 500
Turn 4 (Section 108-125), Turn 1 (Section 167-184)
The most coveted seats for die-hard race fans are at either end of pit lane. Turn 4 seats provide a great view of the run up to the start, cars coming off into the pits and crossing the finish line. Turn 1 gives you a view of the action when cars exit pit lane and work back into race traffic. You also get a great angle on the start finish line. These seats at the end of the main grandstand in the higher levels also provide some of the best bang for your buck.
Start-Finish (Section 140-152, 340-362, 440-462)
If you prefer to be more in the middle of the action, sections 440 to 462 provide good value with a commanding view of the track from the upper levels. You’ll be a bit further back from the action at the start-finish and in pit lane, but will have a wider view the front and even back straight beyond Lake Lloyd.
Pit Road Patios
Fans looking for the ultimate experience should check out the Pit Road Patios. Located at the end of Pit Lane and the Pit Lane Exit, these mixed seating and standing areas offer foot and beverage service, umbrellas and TV coverage. You’ll be right above the pits and have a great view of the start-finish and main grandstand.
