Cowboys Roll Defending Super Bowl Champs in Must Win Game

In case you’ve been living on the moon for the past few weeks, here’s a recap of one of the best Cowboy games of the season:

Despite the off-the-field drama between T.O and the T.Ro / J.Dub roomie clique (which is as normal to the Cowboys as the star on their helmets and the hole in the roof) the Cowboys put up an impressive win against a surging Giants team, handing them their 3rd loss of the season. The Cowboys defense was the deciding factor, sacking Eli Manning 8 times and holding the Giants to a mere 8 points(2 of which came on a safety). Critics say the depleted Giants offensive line led to the high number of sacks, but credit must be given to the Cowboys defensive line and the stellar play of Demarcus Ware and Chris Canty. The Cowboys secondary also contributed by intercepting several of Manning’s passes and keeping the Giant’s receivers  in check. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo went 20 for 30, completing passes to nine different receivers. While the overall offensive play of the Cowboys was nothing spectacular, they completed passes when they needed to and benefited from a solid performance from Tashard Choice, who rushed for 91 yards. Choice proved to the rest of the league that the  Cowboys can still have a potent running attack despite injuries to Marion Barber and Felix Jones.   Also, the Cowboys proved that they CAN win in the fourth quarter, after having blown a solid lead against the Steelers in the previous week. All said and done the final score was 20-8. The Cowboys play their final game at Texas Stadium this Saturday against the Ravens. Considering the game is only being broadcast on the NFL network, every die hard Cowboys fan should make the trip to witness the game in person. TicketCity has a large selection of seats still available for Saturday’s game, so browse the website or call a sales representative to ensure you get the best seats! GO COWBOYS!
