David Beckham Plays 1st MLS Game

The Los Angeles Galaxy’s star player finally played in his first Major League Soccer (MLS) game. He made his MLS debut on Thursday in a road game against the DC United. Beckham has been nursing an injured ankle and unable to play up until now. And he only played the last 20 minutes of the game in their contest against DC United.

But still his debut was a success as more than 46,000 filled RFK Stadium in Washington DC to see the English soccer star. It was the most electric crowd to attend a DC United home game, since Freddy Adu made his debut for the club in 2004. But even Adu’s debut in-front of more than 20 thousand fans, could not supass the crowd for the visiting Beckham.
