Denver Freezes Out Dallas in Road Win

Blowing into town like the arctic front that hit Dallas Monday, the Denver Nuggets froze out the Dallas Mavericks 98-88 to claim their 17th win of the season. While it’s no surprise that Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki’s led the way with 27 points, the Nuggets proved to be more than Mavericks could handle. Fresh off a recent trade from Detroit, Chauncey Billups  hit 60% of his 3 point attempts and Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith had 23 and 25 points respectively to lead the Denver squad. Dallas still received solid performances from Jason “Jet” Terry and the newcomer Jose Juan Barea, who kept the Mavericks in the game despite a somewhat lackluster performance from veteran Jason Kidd. The Mavericks travel to Toronto Wednesday night to face the Raptors, hopefully they can rebound from a tough home loss and come out with a win. TicketCity has a large selection of Mavericks tickets, so check out the website or call a sales representative to lock up the best seats! GO MAVERICKS!
