Don’t Stop Going to Fleetwood Mac Tours

Fleetwood Mac will embark on a 33 city reunion tour this Fall. The band welcomes the return of Christine McVie to the line up after an absence of 16 years. She last toured with the band in 1998. This brings the lineup responsible for their most iconic albums to the stage.

The tour, titled “On With the Show”, will play 34 dates, kicking off at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The band will be hitting major arenas from coast to coast with a little Canada thrown in for good measure. Things are currently set to wrap up in sunny Ft. Lauderdale in December. That’s a pretty good time to be in Ft. Lauderdale.

Also a good time to play Texas, as shows in Houston and Dallas are in the middle of December.

What I learned from this update is that Fleetwood Mac apparently doesn’t have an official YouTube channel. This is from something that might be Stevie Nicks’ channel, but I’m a little unsure of that. No matter, it works, and features a song with the recently returned Miss McVie on lead vocals, “Little Lies.” I like the video, even though it’s fairly basic, with the band on a farm, and some simple rotoscoped animation. I’m getting old, so videos where sequences last more than .3 seconds are easier for me to follow. The video captures the mood of the song pretty well, even if no one is really doing any large or small lying.
