First seats installed at new Dallas Cowboys Stadium

The Dallas Morning News captured the action as the first seats were placed into the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.  The team had a pair of long-time season ticket holders visit the stadium to try out the seats.  Bob & Harriet Hughes have owned Dallas Cowboys season tickets since 1948, which is the reason they were given the privilege of being the first to sit in the new stadium.  The stadium will open for the 2009 NFL season.

The new Dallas Cowboys stadium will be located in Arlington, Texas.  It will have a capacity of 80,000 fans for Cowboys regular-season games, but can be expanded to seat approximately 100,000 people for special events like the Super Bowl.  There is no official name for the stadium yet, although there have been plenty of corporations who have expressed interest in obtaining the naming rights to the stadium.
