Augusta National Golf Club

Augusta National Golf Club is located in Augusta, Georgia, and is one of the most storied and exclusive golf clubs in the world. It has been the host of the Masters golf tournament since 1934. The course is one of the most revered courses in the U.S., and it is well known for its botanic beauty. The flowers and plants are in full bloom during the Masters tournament, which is held the first week in April. Because of the widespread floral and botanic scenery, each hole on the course is named after the tree or shrub with which it has become associated.

Masters Badge Pick-Up and Return

Masters Badges can be picked up from TicketCity at 7:30am at the TicketCity Augusta Office, located in the Surrey Center at 419 Highland Avenue. All Masters Badge require a security deposit. The deposit is released when the Badge is returned. Every Masters Badge must be returned within one hour of the last putt of the day.

Masters Rain Out Policy

Weather in Augusta during the Masters is unpredictable. Most mornings are a little chilly, upper 50’s to low 60’s (Fahrenheit). Afternoons range from the upper 70’s to mid 80’s. And rain is often in the forecast during Masters week…

But rain does not affect the completion of the tournament. If play is suspended due to lightning, then it just begins earlier the next day. In fact, the only time in Masters history that play was not completed by Sunday night was 1938. Weather delayed the start until Saturday, so the final round was not completed until Monday.

If you purchase a single day Masters badge (aka: single day tournament badge) and the entire round is rained out (i.e.- they do not swing a single club) then you will receive in-store credit with us. We do not issue cash refunds, and you cannot use your single day badge the next day. Given availability, we will try to accomodate all rain out clients, so they can attend the following day.

If you purchase a 4-day badge package from us, and one day is rained out, you will not receive any refund. The golfers will still complete 72 holes, just on another day. You will still have the opportunity to watch the entire 72 holes, so a refund is not necessary.

TicketCity staff will be onsite at our house located at 2602 Apricot Lane to assist with any questions in the event of a rain-out.

Prohibited Items At Augusta National

Cell phones, pagers and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited on the grounds of Augusta National Golf Course. Check them at our Masters house, or at the booth outside the main gate of Augusta National. Cameras are permitted on practice round days (Monday-Wednesday), but prohibited on Tournament days (Thursday-Sunday).

  • Beepers/Electronic Devices
  • Cameras (allowed on practice round days)
  • Weapons of any kind (regardless of permit)
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Beverage containers/Coolers
  • Flags/Banners/Signs
  • Folding armchairs/Rigid type chairs or stools
  • Ladders/Periscopes
  • Radios/TVs/Tape Recorders
  • Strollers
  • Walkie-talkies

Anyone who violates these polices, will be removed from the grounds and will have their badges confiscated by security. Customers who have badges confiscated will pay a large penalty fee for not returning their badges. So do not take electronic devices into Augusta National. There are phones available in certain secluded areas of the course that allow you to make long distance calls.
