The Hottest Games of the 2018 NFL Season

The NFL schedule was just released and while it’ll be a few days before we have data on which games are selling the most tickets, TicketCity has put together our predictions for the biggest & most intriguing games in 2018 based on recent demand.

Cowboys at Texans, October 7th, 2018

2014 at AT&T Stadium was the last time the Cowboys & Texans played in the regular season and it was one of the hottest tickets in NFL that season. This is the City of Dallas versus the City of Houston for State of Texas bragging rights. This game could draw a record crowd for NRG Stadium and may exceed their previous attendance record. Get Tickets Here.

49ers at Seahawks, December 2nd, 2018

Richard Sherman 49ers

Demand in Seattle is always big when the division foe 49ers are in-town, but more Seahawk’s fans will be there this season to watch Richard Sherman return to CenturyLink Field. The average ticket price for the Seahawk’s home games in 2017 was just above $225, and early indicators show this game will exceed that average. Get Tickets Here.

Saints at Cowboys, November 29th, 2018 – Thanksgiving Day

The Cowboys were #1 team in home attendance in 2017 while the Saints ranked 9th. Both teams have large, passionate fan-bases. It is less than 200 miles from Louisiana to Dallas, so expect lots of Who Dat Nation to show up. Get Tickets Here.

Vikings at Eagles, October 7th, 2018

Under-Dogs

This game will be a rematch (with the exception of the 2 starting QBs) of the NFC Championship this past January. The average ticket price from that game was near $700 per seat with a Super Bowl appearance on the line. The average ticket price of this game won’t get that high, but it will likely be the Eagles top home game for the regular season. Get Tickets Here.

Patriots at Jaguars, September 16th 2018

This AFC Championship rematch will be played in North Florida instead of Foxboro, so ticket prices won’t touch the $850 they averaged in January in New England. But Jags fans are going to make this the hottest ticket in Jacksonsville this Fall…and that includes the World’s Largest Cocktail Party between Florida & Georgia. Get Tickets Here.

Patriots at Bears, October 21, 2018

The Patriots return to the Windy City for first time since 2010. Chicago home games are normally a big ticket, but Tom Brady will drive demand higher. In 2017, two of the top ten biggest games (in average ticket price) were Patriot’s road games.Get Tickets Here.

(tie) Eagles at Saints, November 18, 2018 // Steelers at Saints, December 23, 2018

New Orleans has been the most popular road trip in for NFL fans over the past decade. Eagles & Steelers fans both travel exceptionally well with fans across the country. Oh and the game(s) on the field should be good, both PA teams went 13-3 in 2017 and the Saints were 1 play away from NFC Championship. Get Tickets Here.

Packers at Patriots, November 4th, 2018

Packers fans have a dream away schedule this season with visits to Boston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles. The last team the Cheese-heads were in New England was 2010 when 68,756 fans squeezed into Gillette Stadium.Get Tickets Here.

Raiders FINAL Home Game in Oakland vs. Denver Broncos, December 24th, 2018 – Christmas Eve/MNF

The Raiders first game in Oakland in 1966 drew 50,746 fans. Will their final crowd in Oakland be bigger? This is the final home-game at Raiders Stadium, on Christmas Eve on Monday Night Football! There is no bigger stage to say goodbye. Get Tickets Here.

Jets at Browns, September 20, 2018 – Thursday Night Football

We hope the Browns shock the World this year and win a bunch of games, but if recent seasons are an indicator this game could be Cleveland’s best chance to get a win at home. The Browns last home win was December 24, 2016 versus the Chargers. Get Tickets Here.
