March Madness Music Festival Schedule and Lineup


The 2015 Final Four is finally set. 3 number 1 seeds advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 2008, and Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans surprised the world to become only the 3rd 7 seed to reach the Final Four since 1984. The coaching duels could not be better. Tom Izzo vs. Coach K, Jon Calipari vs. Bo Ryan Round 2. While the basketball is sure to be unforgettable, the 2015 Final Four is also a great destination for music. Surrounding the Final Four this year is a 3 day music festival known as “March Madness Music Festival” that is free and open to the public. AT&T Block Party
Friday April 3rd, 2015

The free music kicks off on Friday, with 3 huge bands taking over White River Park. The music on Friday is scheduled to end at 10:00 PM and is all about the Indie bands. The show opens with veterans Cold War Kids and Weezer, before finishing with the rising Imagine Dragons.

Coke Zero Countdown
Saturday April 4th, 2015

Saturday is once again packed with stars and the festivities kick off at noon and run unto 9:30. Hip Hop sensation Rihanna headlines a concert listing that also includes top acts Passion Pit, and Bleachers. Saturday’s music will run concurrently with the Final Four semifinal games, which are scheduled to start at 6:09 with Michigan State vs. Duke and continue with Wisconsin vs. Kentucky at 8:49.

Capital One Jam Fest
Sunday April 5th, 2015

If you thought that the first two days of the March Madness Music Festival were a tad Indie heavy, the lineup for Sunday will help you out. Sunday is packed with country music, including top country acts Kacey Musgraves, Lady Antebellum, and Zac Brown Band. The music kicks off at 2 pm on Sunday and continues all the way until 10. With a day in between basketball, the Capital One Jam Fest will likely be full to capacity with fans from all four of the Final Four teams.
