Miami Hurricanes to Play at Dolphins Stadium?

The University of Miami Hurricanes are in discussions to play their home games to Dolphins Stadium. The Hurricanes currently play their home games at the Orange Bowl, which opened in 1937. The Canes have a lease at the Orange Bowl that runs through 2009.

Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga said he thought it was “50-50” that The U moves their home games at his stadium. Huizenga owns Dolphins Stadium; where his team, the Miami Dolphins, play their home games. Dolphins Stadium opened in 1987. It was formerly called Joe Robbie Stadium and Pro Player Stadium.
