2019 Austin City Limits Festival Lineup

Austin City Limits Festival 2019 is quickly coming together with some big names from our current Billboard hits, as well as some hit bands from the past. There is something for everyone at this year’s festival whether you’re into rap, rock country or jazz. ACL Festival 2019 will take place at Zilker Park and be held over two weekends in the fall, October 4-6 and 11-13. Three day passes, as well as single day passes for both weekends have been selling at a fast pace and due to this high demand causing tickets prices to rise quickly.

Last year’s 2018 Austin City Limits Music Festival hit it big with Metallica’s exciting performances, as well as legendary musician, Paul McCartney. This year festival organizers have returned to their rockin’ roots and will showcase Guns N’ Roses, which marks their first performance in Austin since 1993. Also, Mumford and Sons, a folksy rock n roll group combining their mix of electric and acoustic guitars, banjo and percussion.

Another major headliner, Childish Gambino, will be returning from last year’s lineup when he was forced to cancel due to an injury. Powerful singer/rapper Lizzo, country star Kacey Musgraves, and UK jazz trio The Comet is Coming round out a very eclectic group of artists performing at ACL.

Many female artists will join the lineup this year which was sadly lacking in last year’s performances. This year rap sensation, Cardi B, who set attendance records at the Houston Rodeo in March, will perform weekend one. Swedish pop star, Robyn, will perform weekend two. Another female headliner, Billie Eilish, 17, who has topped the pop charts recently with her hit album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go”, will be the youngest artist to ever perform at any ACL Festival. Other female acts from around the world are represented, including: Rosalia (Spain), Sigrid (Norway), Yola (England), Karol Conka (Brazil) and many more!

Each year the Festival showcases a range of Texas artists. This year is no exception with features such as Gary Clark Jr., Black Pistol Fire, Abhi the Nomad, Blackillac and Asleep at the Wheel. Many more home grown bands will be performing for both Festival weekends.

The 2019 Austin City Limits Festival is one of Austin’s finest productions and considered a must see by music lovers everywhere. Check out all of the ACL shows and purchase tickets for both weekend 1 and 2 by visiting TicketCity’s website!
