NCAA South Regional Tickets are a hot commodity

The field from the 2008 NCAA Tournament was cut in half twice over the past week, and now we’re down to the Sweet 16. Those Sweet 16 will play games on Friday to determine the Elite Eight. And those Elite Eight teams will meet over the weekend to determine which 4 teams will play in the 2008 Final Four.

The teams in the 2008 Sweet 16 are:
EAST: North Carolina, Tennessee, Louisville & Washington State
MIDWEST: Kansas, Wisconsin, Davidson & Villanova
SOUTH: Memphis, Texas, Stanford & Michigan State
WEST: UCLA, Xavier, West Virginia & Western Kentucky

The hottest regional right now is the South Regional in Houston. The South Regional is being played at Reliant Stadium on Friday, March 28 and Sunday, March 30th. That regional features matchups: Texas Longhorns versus Stanford Cardinal, and Memphis Tigers versus Michigan State Spartans. The big demand for that matchup is coming from the Longhorns, who are playing in-front of their homestate crowd. Also, Memphis fans are coming down to Houston to support their teams drive for the Final Four.

Tickets for all 4 regionals are being sold in 3 different packages. You can purchase an “All Session” pass that gets you in to both Sweet 16 games and the Elite Eight game. Or you can buy “Session 1” or “Session 2” individually.
