The Marketing Manager is responsible for collaborating with Marketing and other TicketCity Departments to develop, plan, implement and evaluate marketing communications efforts across all platforms including paid media, social media, email & direct response, website, partnerships, PR, events, affiliate programs, etc.  The Marketing Manager reports to the VP of Marketing and job responsibilities include:

  • Develop strategic  partnerships that generate revenue and grow the brand
  • Guide enhancements of retail-driven website to improve appearance, content, user experience, purchase process and features
  • Identify and implement SEO strategies with Web/SEO Manager to fuel explosive online growth
  • Create innovative social media campaigns driving brand awareness and social interaction
  • Develop programs to improve communication and retention of existing clients, while gaining referrals to new clients
  • Guide planning and implementation of email communications program with current ESP (Responsys)
  • Analyze and utilize data from web analytics provider (Coremetrics) to perform regular reporting on key performance indicators, as well as identify issues or opportunities to address
  • Address paid media inquiries, including evaluating opportunities, making recommendations, and communicating with media contacts
  • Manage creative development of marketing materials and advertisements, including both art direction and copywriting.  Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver preferred; not mandatory
  • Develop and distribute company press releases, manage press inquiries and coordinate interviews
  • Assist in management of affiliate program to drive incremental traffic and sales
  • Be an emphatic brand ambassador focusing on growing the company’s brand
  • Oversee student internship program including direct management of marketing interns
  • Work closely with other departments on planning and implementation for company  events

  • Extensive online marketing and retail website experience

  • Multi-tasker able to plan ahead for long term goals, while managing short term tasks
  • Organized and detail-oriented, yet agile to manage new tasks and changes on the fly
  • Exceptional communicator both in speaking and writing
  • Fun, upbeat and excited about new challenges and opportunities
  • Interest or experience in sports, concerts, live events and/or travel preferred
  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing and brand building experience
