2015 PAC-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Parking Guide

The 2015 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada. The city is full of amazing events going on and the tournament is held right on strip at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. A nice thing about Vegas is that many of the hotels allow non-residents of the hotel to park in their garage, often times for only a small fee. This will mark the 3rd consecutive year that the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada will host the Pac-12 men’s basketball tournament. While parking for these types of events can get tricky, the abundance of garages in Vegas will offer many solutions for individuals coming to watch the tournament.

Where is the most convenient place to park at the Pac-12 Basketball Tournament?

Just 0.27 miles away from the Arena is the MGM Grand parking garage. This garage is open 24 hours a day and visitors can park here for free. Like many garages, there is the opportunity for self-park, or valet parking. This garage can be accessed from the Strip, from Tropicana Avenue or from Koval Lane.

Another option is the Strip Lot, located at 3755 South Las Vegas Boulevard. Unlike the garage at MGM Grand, parking in this lot is a flat rate of $5, Monday through Sunday. Being only an eight minute walk from the arena makes this a very suitable lot for those in need of a parking spot.

The Excalibur Hotel & Casino also offers parking for residents and non-residents of the hotel. This lot is also free, but is a 16 minute walk from the exquisite arena. Since it is only three stories, it is regarded as one of the smaller garages in the Las Vegas area. If you like your car being in the shade, then park it here, as opposed to the Excalibur’s open surface lot which is only eight minutes from the arena.

Located at 3725 South Las Vegas Boulevard and only 10 minutes from the arena is the Harley Davidson Las Vegas Café parking garage. From Monday to Sunday, it costs $5 to park here for 12 hours, but $10 to park in this establishment for the full 24 hours. It goes without saying that this lot, like almost all others in Vegas, is open 24 hours a day.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is an underground parking garage with four levels, B2-B5. The Cosmopolitan is regarded as one of the coolest garages in Vegas.
