Rope in the Rodeo Savings, Houston Style

Let’s Rodeo, Houston!

Houston’s favorite tradition since 1932 continues this year with a lineup featuring some of your favorite artists. Even if you’re not a Texan who frequents the rodeo scene, the Houston rodeo has something for everyone. No cowboy boots or hat required only encouraged.

Rodeo Houston is action-packed this year with 20 days of performers to “light it up”.

So how do you do it? How do you rope-in the rodeo budgets for Houston Rodeo tickets?
Here are a few easy steps and 5 shows you can save on this rodeo season.

Seniors (60+) and Children (12 and under) get in free at the Houston Rodeo on Wednesdays. This doesn’t include your entry into the rodeo/concert, but unlike the other nights, you can enter the livestock show, shopping and the general grounds for free. This includes favorites like, baby chickens just after they’ve hatched, a real-life longhorn, llamas, sheep and deer.

Parking is upwards of $20 at the Houston Rodeo but there are a few park and ride locations nearby that range from $5.00 – $10.00.

In previous years, rodeo-goers have dubbed Houston Rodeo tickets and concert lineup as expensive, but this year, it might be far more attainable than you think. Here are a few savings sewn into the concert lineup this Rodeo Season.
