The Mexican National Team will play five International Friendly games in the US this year. The most anticipated matchup for El Tri will undoubtably be against Argentina in the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.
While the Mexican National Team has played in San Antonio several times, recently in 2018 and 2014. This will be the first ever time the La Albiceleste will play in San Antonio. The Argentines are currently ranked 11th in the world but the Mexican National team is undefeated in the Alamodome and 4-0 recently against South American opponents.
The Alamodome can hold more than 64,000 fans, so there should be good ticket supply. Right now, upper level tickets are going for under $100 each. Lower level tickets behind the goal are still affordable, but sideline seats at midfield are starting to increase in price. Hype for the event will likely build and could impact prices.
The best Alamodome seating is in the first 30 rows of sections to be free of most of the overhangs. The second level doesn’t block the view of the field at all, but most fans prefer not to be in the back of the section under the 200 level overhang.
You can buy tickets for Mexico vs. Argentina at the Alamodome in San Antonio at TicketCity.
