The brackets are set and Ticket City welcomes Ohio State, Tennessee, Memphis and Texas A&M to San Antonio!
Austin, TX (March 19, 2007) – The month of March is certifiably insane. The first round of the NCAA Tournament limped by with only Duke experiencing an upset. The second round went by, almost as uneventfully. But then came Round Three and, by the end of Sunday, many an expert’s bracket was “bloody” as the final sixteen teams were set.
Those lucky, and talented, sixteen teams advance to one of four cities: St. Louis, San Jose, East Rutherford (NJ), or San Antonio.
“At Ticket City,” says CEO Randy Cohen, “all eyes are on San Antonio.”
Austin-based Ticket City will be keeping an eye out for hometown rival and fellow Big 12 team Texas A&M and for that “other UT”, Tennessee, matched up against Ohio State and Memphis respectively.
“Having a Regional game held in your own backyard is one thing, but watching our friends at A&M get this far is making it that much more exciting,” adds Cohen.
The action starts Thursday, March 22nd, and goes through Sunday, March 25th. San Antonio hosts games Thursday and Saturday. Ticket prices are currently ranging from $135 to upwards of $1000. Ticket City even has a two-day suite available that holds 20 people. Those interested should call for more information.
Ticket City has opened an office next door to the Alamodome to better serve their clients. The office is located in Sunset Station at 123 Hieneman on the third floor. Tickets are available for all three Regional games, including Saturday’s which determines who will go to the Final Four from the South Region.
“You can be sure we’ll be donning our maroon and wishing the Aggies all the best!”
Those interested in purchasing tickets, including Regional, Final Four and National Championship games, should call (800) SOLD-OUT or go online to www.TicketCity.com to reserve their seats.
