The NFL Draft House: Bradford, Moreno and the Class of 2009

The buzz is all about who’s going to The Show, and I’ve compiled the latest on who’s gonna commit to the 2009 NFL Draft.  The NFL draft is a trying time for many college teams, as great offensive and defensive players may decide to leave school early for the shot of making it big in the pro leagues.  However, this is a boon for NFL fans, as they get to watch their favorite college players move on up and keep doing what they do best – play real good football.   I learned today that OU QB Sam Bradford will declare his candidacy “barring an injury in Thursday night’s BCS National Championship game.”  Other notable draft hopefuls include:

Knowshon Moreno – RB – Georgia
Matthew Stafford – QB – Georgia
Vontae Davis – CB – Illinois
Everette Brown – DE – FSU
Darrius Heyward-Bey – WR – Maryland
Jerraud Powers – DB – Auburn
Eben Britton – OL – Arizona
Hakeem Nicks – WR – UNC
Kevin Ogletree – WR – Virginia
James Casey – UB – Rice
Gerald McRath – LB – Southern Miss
Andre Smith – OT – Alabama

This is just the short list for now, I will be updating as more and more players commit.
