The Week in TicketCity Search – April 1st
I think my stats are playing an April Fools prank on me. While I was expecting something with a Four in it to be at the top, the Frozen version was not it. Here we are, though, with the stars of NCAA hockey making the top of the list. Notre Dame, Minnesota-Duluth, Michigan, and North Dakota will vie for the college hockey championship Thursday and Saturday next week. They shuffle the usual suspects down a notch to 2 and 3, while Lil Wayne surges back a couple spots. Chris Cornell rounds out the top 5, back after being absent a few weeks or so.
Leading off the bottom five is none other than Britney Spears, who has a new album and tour this year. The album, Femme Fatale, arrived just a few days ago, while the tour doesn’t kick off until June. Buzz on the summer tour started strong, no doubt contributing to her sudden entrance to the countdown.
It’s in this half of the countdown we find that “other” Final Four, the one with the round ball and less watery surfaces. I’m surprised at the result, since the big dance is (somewhat) nearby in Houston. It has a couple Cinderella teams with Butler and, from my own home town, VCU, going up against Kentucky and Connecticut. There’s still time to pick up tix to both games.
