Where to Park for Bulls and Blackhawks Playoff Games

As I pointed out in my United Center Event Guide, the best way to get to the United Center is to drive there. Located right off of I-290, the United Center is an easy drive from any direction. Parking at the UC is easy and convenient too, even for Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks playoff games. The parking lots are well-lit and getting in and out is a relative breeze compared to other local venues. Even the farthest lot is only about a block away.

Getting There:

From the west, take I-290 to exit 28A, Damen Avenue. Take Damen Avenue north and the United Center is on the right. From the south you can exit I-55 at Damen Avenue and again take it North. From the east, just take Madison Steet west until you see the United Center on your left. From the north, take 1-90 to the Madison Street exit and take a right onto Madison Street.

There are over 5,500 parking spaces, all within a block or two of the United Center.
Parking is the same for Bulls and Blackhawks games, which makes things easier for anybody attending a game or anybody writing about the United Center Parking situation. The VIP lot, Lot H, is just east of the United Center. Parking there is $45. Suite lot K is just south of the United Center while Suite lot C is directly across the street on Madison. Both cost $27. All other lots cost $22 and are located all around the United Center.

Parking Policies:

The usual parking rules apply to United Center parking:
No in/out privileges.
No overnight parking.
No solicitation allowed.
No consumption of alcoholic beverages on lot or in parked vehicles.
No tailgating.
